About Us

The Hudson Fish and Game Club, Inc. is located at 53 Pine Road, Hudson, New Hampshire, 03051. The Club incorporated in 1956.

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary August 2006.

The Club is a registered non-profit organization in New Hampshire. We promote all legitimate sports with rod, gun, and bow. We assist in enforcing the laws for the protection and propagation of fish and game within the state and help in securing legislation in connection with these purposes as may be necessary. We buy, sell, mortgage or lease real estate to further these purposes. We maintain a clubhouse and/or other buildings and generally promote social contacts of our members. We expend all income above and beyond operating expenses on charitable activities in accordance with our by-laws.

Members do not need to sign in at this time.

Membership

At this time our membership is at full capacity. However, we do have a waiting list. Once you are on the waiting list, you will have "Guest Privileges", and not "FULL MEMBERSHIP" privileges.

We have many activities throughout the year.

We hold an annual fund raising event for Catch A Dream Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. If you would like to donate an item for this event for a raffle, please contact us.

Catch-A-Dream grants once-in-a-lifetime outdoor experiences to children 18 years old or younger who have a life-threatening illness.

Catch-A-Dream's singular purpose is to provide consumptive use outdoor experiences to fill the “gap” created when the Make-A-Wish Foundation established national policy that precludes granting a child a wish that involves hunting or use of “...firearms, hunting bows, or other hunting or sport-shooting equipment.”

Come join us in August 28, 2010 as we hold a fundraiser for this great organization! Please go to our Calendar of Events 2009 for more information.

Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

The Hudson Fish and Game Club, Inc holds an annual Thanksgiving Dinner, on Thanksgiving Day, each year, to help feed the local communities a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Which includes delivering meals as well. We have been providing this service to our local communities for 25-30 years, and this is provided through club members who volunteer their time. This service could not be provided without all the help from our dedicated club members, Karen Knox and her daughter who help coordinate places of delivery of meals, individuals from our communities, and members of our local cub scouts, girl scouts, and people volunteering as well. We also receive donations from local merchants as well, which helps defray costs, and monetary donations throughout the year as well. In 2009, we delivered over 1200 meals to our communities, and served approximately an additional 235 meals at the club. We are always PROUD of this event.

The Hudson Fish and Game Club, INC provides space to hold New Hampshire Hunter Education classes twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. If available, Archery class may be provided on a different date. These are certified volunteers from the New Hampshire Fish and Game that teach classes about Hunter Safety for all residents in the State of New Hampshire. The purpose of holding these classes is because it is a requirement prior to purchasing a hunting license in New Hampshire. New Hampshire does recognize if you have taken a certified class in another state, and documents must be provided prior to purchasing a license. New Hampshire Fish and Game has a web site and allows you to purchase your license on line, enter the Moose Lottery, and view the yearly Rules, Regulations and Seasons.

Junior Rifle Team

The Hudson Fish and Game Club is proud to sponsor the Hudson Fish and Game Junior Rifle Team. The Team competes in both smallbore rifle and air rifle all year. In 2009, four individual members won Junior Olympic Gold, Silver or Bronze State Championship medals. Three earned invitations to the Junior Olympic National Championships at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to compete for spots on the National Development Team. Watch for upcomming events in 2009 and help support our Junior Rifle Team!

All club members are members of the NRA, National Rifle Association.
